This Playsheet is the very template I use for my own daily spiritual practice. Yes, I journal, and yes I meditate...every single day. This stuff works and it’s powerful! Or rather, YOU are powerful when you work this stuff. The practice doesn’t have to be a long process, 10-30 minutes is all you need to begin.

So this is basically what your day is going to look like:

  1. Reflect and/or meditate on the daily affirmation, quote, or mantra (5 min). Use a timer to help you stay on time.

  2. After reflection/meditation time, give yourself another 2-3 minutes to journal everything that popped into your head. Your thoughts, desires, fears, get whatever is going on in that beautiful mind of yours out into the sunlight (i.e. your journal). This is a critical part of this practice. It’s in your journaling where you will discover insights, epiphanies, and old, subconscious fears. This is also where you will begin the healing process as you can only make changes once you become aware of what you want to change.

  3. Next, you’re going to write a minimum of 5 things that you are really appreciating/loving about your life right now. I’m talking anything and everything. This will get you into a state of love, which is the highest vibe in the universe!

  4. Lastly, you’re going to choose at least 1 self-loving action that you can commit to for the day. Don’t make this too hard, it can be something as simple as looking in the mirror and saying, “I love you and I’m so f*$&ing proud of you!” It could be committing to complimenting someone today or going for a walk/run. It’s important to get the mind right, but if you aren’t acting on inspiration, you won’t be making any actual changes.

Day 40:

I am whole. I was made perfectly and nothing has gone wrong. I am learning, growing, and evolving every single day and I am loving every step of the process more and more. I honor the lessons and blessings from my past and I allow myself to move forward with gratitude and renewal. I am writing my new story right now.

No matter where I go, no matter what life may bring, I know I can always come home to myself. I know that just showing up, just going for "it", whatever "it" happens to be for me is a complete act of self-love and faith. I trust myself. I trust the power that moves me, guides me, blesses me, and IS me. It is a power that will multiply my life and the lives of everyone around me in miraculous ways."
